Pretty Woman
Richard Hudson was devasted after retiring Pretty Woman from last year’s race, as they were on the way to winning the IRC Corinthian trophy, they won in 2023. Regrouping, he finished second in the 2025 Pittwater to Coffs Harbour race. Pretty Woman, whose crew always includes young graduate sailors from RPAYC’s Youth Development program, scored second in Division 2 in the 2023 Hobart.
In the 2022 race, the Farr 45 finished 28th and second in Corinthian IRC. In 2021 she posted third in Division 2. Hudson blends experience with younger sailors on this yacht, allowing them to experience offshore racing at its toughest – and they got a good dose of that last year. This year they undertook another vigorous campaign in the lead-up, including the 2025 Noakes Sydney Gold Coast.
