Profile
A name change from LCE Old School Racing reflects sponsorship from WhiteWave Sailing Centre in Shenzhen, China, an RYA accredited school. All of the Chinese crew for Hobart did the 2025 Rolex Fastnet Race, often compared to the Rolex Sydney Hobart. Griffith, who packs in a lot of sea miles, says they are connected to the school via Aftershock, the Davidson 60 he part owns with Steve McConaghy in Phuket.
David Elliott and Griffith last took this yacht to Hobart in 2021 and placed fourth in Division 2. The DK46 was born Dekadence, her then owner, Phil Coombs, raced her in the 2007 Melbourne Osaka double handed race. She has had a few owners since: David Creese, Ken Simpson, Stephanie Kerin and Drew Carruthers.
