Trouble & Strife
Trouble & Strife was built in New Zealand and is the sistership to the yacht now known as Kanreki, which is also entered for the 80th Rolex Sydney Hobart, so the two should be good rivals for each other. According to her owner, Matt Williams, Trouble & Strife is crewed by an enthusiastic mix of youth and experience and has competed in a range of inshore and offshore events including Brisbane to Gladstone, Brisbane to Keppel and Brisbane to Hamilton Island races.
Williams has contested two Sydney Hobarts with this Cookson 12 - in 2022 and last year. Trouble & Strife’s best offshore result so far was first in IRC and ORCI in the 2022 Brisbane to Hamilton Island Yacht Race.
