Wyuna

Hilary Arthure brought Wyuna for their first Rolex Sydney Hobart together in 2023 and finished 59^th overall. Like others, the lure of competing in the 80^th race proved irresistible, despite the long travel to and from Perth to compete.

In fact the yacht was transported across the Nullabor to Sydney by truck. This Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600 is the former Kraken and was launched at the 2014 Sydney International Boat Show. She was purchased by West Australian, Todd Giraudo, who was aboard with Arthure in the 2023 Hobart.

After she bought the yacht, Arthure  won her division in the 2023 Fremantle to Exmouth Race. Her Sydney Hobart experience includes 2015 on Jaffa and in 2013 on Gordon Ketelbey’s Zen.

As Kraken, this yacht completed a 17,000 nautical mile world tour, including races to Bali, the Melbourne to Hobart, the Sydney Hobart and the Melbourne to Osaka Cup.
