Position reports are provided by boats by HF radio in “skeds” conducted by a team headed by CYCA Past Commodore and Life Member David Kellett on the Radio Relay Vessel MV JBW kindly made available to CYCA by John Winning of Appliances Online, assisted by a team on Young Endevour and Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania.  

With the assistance of Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, the skeds are streamed through the race website. 

This is a recording of the sked conducted with the fleet on the afternoon of 29 December, with the static and atmospheric interference just as the boats hear it.
