Lindsay May is preparing for his 50th consecutive Sydney Hobart Yacht Race – the only sailor to achieve this major milestone.

 
As navigator on Antipodes, Lindsay brings not just 50 years of experience, but an enduring love for the race and a sense of adventure that never wanes.
 
Lindsay considers himself ‘in charge of everything down below’ during a race, where he not only monitors weather and plans and plots the yacht’s course, but ensures all crew are well fed, gear is stored and organised, safety measures are covered and everything is in its place.
 
Each year, Lindsay shares with fellow crew members a list of hard-earned and well-learned tips for taking on the trip South.
