NOTE TO ALL COMPETITORS: Marina power in Hobart

Please note, to access power at Constitution Dock, Kings Pier Marina and Elizabeth Street Pier, competitors must ensure that:

  • Power leads are tagged and tested, and within date;
  • Power leads are run in a safe manner, they are not be left across walkways or in the water;
  • Only 15amp power leads are plugged into 15amp power outlets. If a 10amp lead is plugged into a 15amp outlet there is the potential for the lead to melt and damage the outlet;
  • Power leads are not ‘daisy-chained’ across yachts. Yachts that are rafted up are not to run power across to other yachts. Only the yacht with a specific berth allocation will have access to power;

 Please also note, if the use of power causes any damage to infrastructure, the cost of repairs will be charged back to the yacht owner.

A member of our Team will meet you on arrival to help ensure the above is adhered to. Security will also be patrolling the marina & other berthing areas to check the above guidelines are being adhered to.
