Berthing | Sydney

Subject to availability, boats not permanently berthed or moored in Sydney Harbour will be located on the marina on a first-come, first-served basis. Preference will be given to overseas and interstate boats.

Berthing at the CYCA will be complimentary for all overseas, interstate and non-Sydney Harbour entrants in the Rolex Sydney Hobart, for the period from 22 December through to 26 December.

Berthing for boats in the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race is included in the race entry fee and is valid until 1000hrs 3 January. All race participants must vacate their allocated event berth and depart the marina prior to 1000hrs on 3 January to allow marina tenants to return to their leased berth. 

During the event, vessels wishing to stay beyond 3 January must discuss berth options and vessel suitability with the Royal Yacht Club Tasmania (RYCT) Berthing Team in the race information centre. RYCT is responsible for ensuring only available berths are allocated and informing visiting vessels of the need to make other arrangements if these available berths are exhausted.

TasPorts does not take any forward bookings for visiting vessels wanting to stay beyond 3 January.
