Romava competed in the 1956 Sydney Hobart race, after she raced from Melbourne in the Queenscliff to Sydney race in which he finished 2nd in 1956. Racing on Port Phillip she won the RBYC club point score for the 1957 – 58 season. A Robert Clark design, launched in 1954, she has also been a competitor in the Bass Strait race, which he won in 1955.
