This 32 foot masthead sloop hails from Williamstown, Victoria, where she sails under the burgee of the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria. Designed and built by J J Savage & Sons Pty Ltd. Birrahlee  has only just been launched and so untried. The entire crew are all experienced racing and cruising yachtsmen, although this is their first entry in the Sydney Hobart Race.
