This beautiful Alden designed yacht, although a starter in numerous offshore events including two Montague Island races, has been entered in the classic for the first time. Her performance will be watched with a great deal of interest. Solano was built by amateurs in Hobart and has been so faithfully constructed that in all her ocean racing and sailing she has proven the skill of the builders by showing absolutely no movement.
