Profile
Another ubiquitous Seabird, this fine yacht has already proved her hard weather ability and general endurance by winning the last Montague Island Race, always a good testing ground for the Hobart Race that follows. Owner Ron Hobson, popular Vice-Commodore of the CYCA previously owned the successful “Ripple.” and is a man renowned for his hard-driving capabilities. "Joanne Brodie." only launched this year in Sydney, has a lower rating than the other “Seabirds” as a result of a slightly modified rig, and if the conditions are at all hard, she should be amongst the place-getters. She is a yacht worth following very closely.
