Designed by Alan Payne and built in steel, Bacchus D competed for Admiral's Cup selection but was unfortunate in that she had insufficient time for fine tuning before this series. No expense has been spared to make this boat capable of being driven hard and her crew will be doing just this. Undoubtedly a contender for line honours, she could also be well up in the handicap section.
