A very easily driven hull to the design of the New York firm Sparkman and Stephens, this boat has always been very hard to beat.  With a new owner, her progress southward will be closely watched by many competitors, particularly if the weather is light to medium.  She is capable of sailing very fast and at the end of the race could well prove a surprise.
