A veteran of seven Hobart races, Carol J first made the trip in 1954. She came 3rd in 1954 and again in 1956. Probably the oldest Sparkman & Stephens design in the race.

This will be the eighth race south for Carol J. In her first in 1954 she came 3rd overall.
