Launched in 1970, Barbarian competed in the 1971 Hobart, finishing 47th. She has sailed in a number of Brisbane to Gladstone races. She will have a large following this year, carrying the first ever all-girl crew in the Sydney to Hobart race. The girls, lead by Vicky Willman, have already given a good account of themselves this year in races in NSW, including the rugged Montagu Island Race.
