It is good to see this yacht back in competitive racing. The last time she went to Hobart was when owned by Rick Dowling in 1973 when she was trialing for an Admiral's Cup berth. The new owner Peter Fielding is not an experience yachtsman but has Mike Fletcher, Olympic coach, as sailing master and a select group of other crewmen. She would revel in any hard windward work and no doubt sets out hoping that this race has some stiff southerlies so that she may show her true class.
