There have been lots of S&S34s in this race but this one has circumnavigated the world, indeed, the first to do so from Fremantle, WA. While on the trip she did the Capetown to Rio Race coming 7th out of 128 starters. Since returning she won the '77 140 mile Yanchep Race. The skipper has done 6,000 miles single-handed with this yacht, so the Hobart should be a straightforward passage.
