Variag is a champion French yacht with a string of victories in prestige events to her credit. These include 1st in class III, 1977 Fastnet, 1st Plymouth - La Rochelle, 1st Jubilee race. She is the current RORC class III champion, and if the Hobart race conditions favour small boats, this will be the boat to beat on handicap.
Member of the first EEC Southern Cross Cup team.
