This big Doug Peterson design competed in the 1979 Admirals Cup trials.  Her experienced owner, who has sailed many miles, will drive this boat hard.  Bacardi finished 3rd in the inaugural Great Circle Race, and he represented USA in last year's Southern Cross Cup.  In good form this year, she's won both line honours and handicap in the Portland Race.  She will be amongst the leaders in her division.
