Odin is a Halvorsen design steel sloop. Launched in 1965, she must rate as one of the older yachts in this year's race. Previously owned by Lou Abrahams of Challenge fame, in early days she was an average performer and it is not expected that she will perform miracles this year. Her owner/skipper is the AYF Training Director and ex-Navy Hydrographer. It is nice to see a yacht of this vintage in the race
