Designed by Joe Adams, Destiny is a cruising cutter built of steel. She has been used by Theo Taylor to teach youngsters about adventures at sea under the auspices of the Ocean Youth Club. It is believed that this year she will once again be used to introduce OYC members to a long ocean passage. She has a very experienced navigator in Don Gillies, but she is not expected to be at the front of the fleet.
