One of the new Farr 37s built by Glass Yachts, Pippin was launched in time to be well worked up before this race. She will have three sisterships in the race and will be trying hard to beat them. These yachts have established a good record and were developed from Migigi, the Farr design that won the 1983 SORC. They are the first of what may become a true offshore one desgn class in Australila. They should prove very fast.
