Sagar Rani is an unusually built yacht of marine plywood, glass topsides, steal and ferro frames, ferro deck and beams. She was designed and built to 'Das Norske Verita' rules for construction in ferrocement. Her racing career has been confined to cruising passages only and she is not expeced to be amongst the front runners despite her size. She seems to be the only ketch rigged yacht in the race this year.
