Well-known competitor and designer Peter Joubert is taking his own design down for the ninth time. Peter's designs have been successful in the Hobart, in an era where boats are now more prone to fall apart, these Joubert designs rank as strong and fast sea boats. Last year he achieved 19th overall and won the Samuel Pepys trophy – despite tearing a main and sailing for 56 hours under trysail. She has an extremely experienced crew, who stated on their entry form, 'we no longer declare our age'.
