Balandra has a long history of Hobart races, the first being the 1965 event when she was 'the latest thing out' and came 4th. 1985 was not a good year due to crew injury. This year the skipper believes Balanrda will perform strongly with the advantage of crew from the CSIRO Marine Laboratories, Hobart, no doubt putting into action their 'inside information' about the ocean.
