Imported from the US, iwas briefly known as Sweet Caroline when raced by Marshall Phillips in the Australian Clipper Cup team and in her first Sydney Hobart Race in 1978. Tony Pearson changed her name back to the original Big Schott and successfully campaigned her for several years in CYCA events. Now somewhat dated in design, she is still a powerful performer to windward.
