Veteran yachtsman Julius Charody has been a regular ocean racing skipper with the CYCA since 1974, twice winning the Montague Island Race and finishing 2nd once with his previous Shenandoah - a record achieved by no other skipper. This will be is tenth Hobart race since 1976, a remarkable effort for Julius as he has had a couple of major operations.
