Conceived as a Bicentennial project, and funded by the Northern Territory Government, local sponsors and by public donation, this yacht represents the Northern Territory and is known in Darwin as “the peoples boat”. Since being launched she has finished second in the Darwin to Ambon race and is one of only four fully crewed yachts which successfully completed the Bicentennial Around Australia Yacht Race. She will be back in Sydney for only six weeks before sailing to Hobart.
