A modification of a Swan 46, Mirrabooka was launched just in time to contest the 1987 Sydney Hobart, and improved considerably to finish eighth across the line and sixth on handicap in Division A last year. This year veteran skipper John Bennetto will be notching up his 29 Sydney Hobart race – the first was back in 1947. Mirrabooka will enter the IMS division.
