Profile
Very successful and competitive S&S design older style one tonner which races readily out of the CYCA. Stormy Petrel was the winner of the World One Ton Cup New Zealand in 1972 when skippered by Syd Fischer. Last went to Hobart in '89 where she finished 42nd overall and 6 in division. Veteran yachtsmen Tony Pearson was made Ocean Racing Veteran Yachtsmen of the Year in 1990.
