Profile
This evergreen boat has twice won the Sydney Hobart in 1974 and 1978. Skipper Peter Kurts then retired her and built a string of racing machines in the 1980s. With the lure of the 50th Hobart and the advent of the IMS rule, the wily Kurts dragged her out of mothballs, gave her a major refit and then went on to win the 20 year veteran division of the 94 Hobart. More recently she has enjoyed success in the Lord Howe Island Race with a fourth-place overall
