In between cleaning up Australia and the World, Ian Kiernan can still find time to do the Sydney Hobart. His immaculate Tasman Seabird Canon Maris has a good race record with a 2nd place in the veteran division in the '94 Hobart and a 1st in division in the '95 Sydney Southport. After breaking a mast in this year's Gold Coast Race she will undoubtedly be aiming to make up for it by beating mates and rivals on Southerly to Hobart. Navigator will be Richard 'Sighty' Hammond who this year will be sailing his 39th Sydney to Hobart.
