Owner John Kahlbetzer, who won line honours with his maxi yacht Bumblebee IV  in the 1979 Sydney to Hobart race, will campaign his 62 footer south for the second time. Key crewmembers include America's Cup helmsman/skipper Iain Murray OAM who is also one of the yacht's designers. Bumblebee V competed in this year's Kenwood Cup as an individual entrant and team reserve.
