This will be the first ocean race for owner Gabor Kemeny of Kemeny's Food and Liquor fame and he has splashed out for the occasion with a comfortable cruising boat. The highly experienced crew are looking forward to some smoking jacket and slippers sailing - not to mention the well-stocked fridge. This will be the 19th race for long time friends Bill Ratcliff and Tassie mate Barry Simpson and will also be the first time Bill and his two sons have sailed together since the days of Marara.
