Veteran racer Mark Twain holds the impressive record of the most number of Sydney Hobart yacht races (22) for an individual yacht while her skipper has notched up an equally impressive total of 18. Over the years, Mark Twain has had three 2nd places and two 3rds in division and she successfully completed the gruelling 1998 Telstra Sydney Hobart race, finishing 17th overall on IMS handicap. Mark Twain is also a veteran of 12 Lord Howe Island races.
