Well-known Sydney marine retailer Andrew Short has campaigned his former Volvo round the world yacht extensively including last year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart where he finished 5th over the line and this year’s inaugural Southport – Mackay Race where he took line honours.

The Short Team will be boosted with the help of Jacques Vincent who was the second helmsman on Djuice in the last Volvo round world race.  He has successfully raced no less than eight times round the world including the successful Steve Fossett record-breaking attempt earlier this year on board Cheyenne with Addriene Cahalan.
