In a relatively short period, this Hick 50 has clocked some serious racing miles including the Melbourne – Osaka Race, where she placed 3rd over the line, and the Three Peaks Race. This year the crew, which includes the husband and wife team of Ivan and Sibby MacFadyen, the boat’s owners, will carry a sextant from the first 9-boat Sydney Hobart fleet in 1945 to mark the event’s 60th anniversary.
