Profile

Commissioned this year by prominent German yachtsman, Felix Scheder-Bieschin, this new Marten 49 was built in NZ and is considered a strong contender for the Tattersalls Cup, the IRC Overall winner of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Race.

Described as a sports cruising boat, it was built almost totally in carbon fibre and features a lifting keel with a large bulb.
