The 2004 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race was a baptism of fire for the boat and most of the crew in their first race south, but they showed prudent seamanship and sought shelter from the Bass Strait gale.  Some members of the 2004 crew are back on board for this year’s race.  Previously Chancellor finished 1st in division in the Pittwater Coffs Harbour Race.  Unfortunately a power failure forced Chancellor to retire from this year’s Gosford to Lord Howe Island Race.
