One of three DK 46s in Australia, Dekadence has had some good results in previous offshore races.  A proven heavy weather performer with a very experienced crew, Dekadence was 10th to finish in last year’s tough Rolex Sydney Hobart and 6th in IRC Division A.  All crew members but one have sailed to Hobart before while the newest, 23-year-old Tyson Lamond, was the South Australian Crewman of the Year with extensive sailing in the Farr 40 One Design class, including the world championships.
