Profile
Fresh from a PHS win in this year’s Sydney Mooloolaba and a 2nd in the inaugural Sydney Mackay Yacht Race, David Pescud has again elected to race south with a mostly disabled crew for his 16th Rolex Sydney Hobart. This specially designed 52-footer has contested every east coast regatta and offshore race since being launched in 2000. With their previous boat, Pescud and his crew won PHS Division A of the storm-battered 1998 Hobart Race. SWD also holds the monohull circumnavigation of Australia record.
