Champion Australian offshore yachtsman Roger “Hicko” Hickman has joined forces with well-known Russian International Dragon sailor Mikhail Muratov to bring a Russian entry in the 2010 Rolex Sydney Hobart.
New owners, CYCA Commodore Garry Linacre and past-Commodore David Fuller, have loaned Vamp (previously Limit and Flirt) to Hickman for the race. Muratov is bringing five Russian sailing friends and the balance of the crew are Hicko’s long time Australian crew. After the race, Hicko and Muratov will compete against each other in the International Dragon Worlds in Melbourne in January 2011.
