James Murchison and crew placed third in the PHS division of this year’s Land Rover Gold Coast Yacht Race, following on from their PHS overall win in the 2013 race. They have been building a blue water campaign that has culminated in the 70th edition of the Rolex Sydney Hobart. Previous results include eighth in PHS division of the 2012 CYCA’s Cabbage Tree Island Race and fifth in PHS Division 2 in the Rolex Sydney Hobart that year.

She did not compete in last year’s race. Murchison has competed in several Sydney Gold Coast Yacht races, eight Rolex Sydney Hobart's, a Melbourne to Osaka, Pittwater to Coffs Harbour and Sydney Mooloolaba races.
