1969 saw S&S 34 Morning Cloud win the prestigious Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. Shane Kearns, owner of Azzurro, is certain that his immaculately restored sister ship can take this honour 50 years later. With a famous history borne from a long and successful association with the Ocean Racing Club of Victoria (then known as Shenandoah II), Kearns has successfully campaigned Azzurro since 2014, twice winning the Sydney to Gold Coast Race, and taking a 3rd overall in the 2015 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and winning ORCi and Corinthian divisions outright.
