Turbulence H602 is the previous Turbo from HBYC. This vessel was the very first Adams 11.90 built and her original name was Newcastle Flyer, it then moved to Tasmania and the name was changed to Thumbs Up in 1984 it came 13th on line honours in Sydney Hobart. This year is her 40th birthday; she is now one of the oldest boats in the fleet with many ocean races and victories to her credit. Some of the races she has completed are the Rolex Sydney Hobart, Melbourne to Hobart, 2010 Melbourne Vanuatu Race, 2003 and 2013 Melbourne Osaka races. Turbulence recently competed at Port Douglas Race Week and Hamilton Island Race Week. She will be Skippered by Steven Czapp in this years great race.
