Wings is a Dehler 46 launched November 2017 for Lindy and Ian Edwards. She is a comfortable fast cruising boat that also goes racing. In 2018, Wings sailed the Pittwater Paradise Race, Ponant Sydney Noumea race, placing second in Division 2 in PHS, and the Groupama Race. They also enjoyed some Pacific cruising, then competed at Airlie, Hamilton Island and Magnetic Island Race Weeks. She rounded out the year with the Rolex Sydney Hobart, placing sixth in the Corinthian Division. In 2019, Wings contested the Noakes Sydney Gold Coast and Brisbane-Hamilton Island races to prepare, achieving some divisional second places. Ian’s son Paul will join the crew for his first Sydney Hobart race. Four women will do their first Hobart on Wings; Katy MacDonald, Janease Graham, Janelle Orth and Elyse Guevara. "We have built a great team. We will sail safe, enjoy the journey, and we’ll sail as fast as we can. In longer offshore races we always have the best boat food!"
