Kim Jaggar OAM will contest his 39^th Sydney Hobart this year after skippering Cinquante to third in the Sydney 38 division last year. In 2022 Cinquante won the Sydney 38 Division after finishing ninth and second in Division 3. In 2021, Cinquante finished third in IRC Corinthian, having also contested the 2018 and 2019 races.

Cinquante’s (meaning ‘50’ in French) only other Hobart was 2008 under former Victorian owner, Ian Murray, who won the Sydney 38 division, when the boat was known as Morris Finance. Cinquante’s crew are taking part in the CYCA’s Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore as part of their preparation for the 80^th Rolex Sydney Hobart. Dr Jaggar has been the Principal of Sydney Boys Hight School since 2000 and was recognised for his service to secondary education with an OAM in 2019.
