This Beneteau 47.7, Marguerite, will be sailed by a Chinese crew, skippered by Aaron Zhou - and they are all new to the Rolex Sydney Hobart.

The Beneteau First 47.7 has done just one Hobart before, the 75th race in 2019. Significantly, it was sailed by the only indigenous team to ever contest the race. They named her Tribal Warrior and she was skippered by Wayne Jones to 28th on PHS.  They received tumultuous applause as they sailed by the Taste of Tasmania after finishing. Now she is back for the 80th.

Zhou has spent a lot of time sailing out of the CYCA and has been busy preparing Marguerite for the Rolex Sydney Hobart.
