Pacific Road Xanthus, a luxury performance cruiser, is back as a contender in their division, having placed 33^rd in PHS last year. Matt Fifield, alongside a steady veteran crew led by Mitch White, will compete for the hardware across the 2025-26 Audi Centre Sydney BWPS series that culminates in the 80th Sydney Hobart.

Expect strong teamwork and experience to help push Xanthus through the elements and towards the podium in this classic test of seamanship. She raced under PHS last year, but has made the switch to IRC, making her eligible for the famous Tattersall Cup. Sixth overall in October’s Tollgate Islands Race is a good start to the end goal. Fifield is a regular in club and local races on Sydney Harbour, including with a former X yacht, Makara. He also contested the 2014 Rolex Sydney Hobart on Flying Fish Arctos.
